Corporate Travel Coordinator – Full Time Position

The Role

Seeking a talented Travel Coordinator to work remotely for a leading medical company with expertise in personalized corporate travel needs and optimal cost-saving strategies. The ideal candidate for this position is exceptionally self-motivated, has a strong work-ethic, and has excellent communication skills.

The travel coordinator will be responsible for all travel bookings (flights, hotels, and rental cars) for both providers and executive team and will work closely with key employees under the direction of Visionary Travel Solutions.

Job duties include handling all travel intake, strategically booking all necessary travel arrangements while integrating unique strategies and organized record keeping. Must also be adept at negotiating corporate rates and maintaining close contact with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely deliverance of all bookings to accounts payable. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong knowledge and passion for loyalty programs and leveraging points and miles and current cost-saving travel trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works alongside scheduling coordinators to book all provider and employee travel in a dynamic environment
  • Understands and implements cost-saving strategies for all travel bookings
  • Keeps a clear and organized log of all bookings
  • Identifies and keeps current with unique trends in the travel industry
  • Develops relationships with suitable hotels near key facilities and negotiates corporate rates
  • Scouts long-term lodging solutions and opportunities
  • Sends all necessary documentation including CC Authorization forms to all appropriate accommodations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of travel booking and/or related field or work
  • Strong interest and understanding of loyalty programs, points and miles redemption strategies and additional cost-saving methods
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal, telephone and communication skills
  • Exceptional organization skills and ability to adapt swiftly to changes
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets or MS Excel or similar
  • Strong work ethic and drive in a remote working environment
